Reflecting. The part I disagree w is that “there isn’t greater wealth”. There IS! It’s locked in land value

And is rebuilt as a $1m SFH. The problem is not so much the financialization.
I believe we’re in agreement on all this. I find myself leaning into the developer metric of “a market is in balance if the land is worth 25% of the build”. And in many places the land is zoned to make that impossible.
