MSNBC showed excerpts from Schumer’s interview last night, but they didn’t include his explanation which I found compelling. If the government was shutdown Schumer says that would be it, it’d never reopen. He wouldn’t need anyone’s approval to turn everything off. Unthinkable. Horrific.
