If he dies he will be the third family member of mine to have died this year and while the other two were also upsetting this one is stinging a lot more

I am extremely heart broken over this and thinking my next visit home to Memphis will be soon and for his funeral. My uncle is a big part of my family’s life.

He began to rapidly decline and I just got a text this morning telling me his breathing worsened over night. Dr’s are feeling very dim about him. He will be on palliative care for the remainder of his time.

My uncle hard surgery to fix the hole in his duodenum and his doctors were cautiously optimistic about his recovery. He was showing big improvement for a while but ultimately the surgery has not been successful.
