Also in the spirit of normalizing rejection - I also had several symposia rejected, including other research studies on weight stigma and suicide research among trans and gender diverse youth. I still think that research is so important and worth doing, but rejection is a ubiquitous part of academia

All of my symposia were rejected this year 🫠 but just when I was reaching radical acceptance about finally having a conference I can kick back and just go to talks I had a clinical roundtable accepted

Sadly they ended up being double booked haha, but they will be presented Friday 5/30 at 2:30pm! :)

We also found that individuals with worse interoception reported increased urges to binge eat as well as restrict. Overall, we found evidence that weight neutral approaches would be extremely helpful in disordered eating treatment settings and interoception is a promising treatment target
