There's probably no trade deal - or lack of one - that would slow, stop, or reverse the rich getting richer.

You get the deal, and separately pass legislation bolstering unions, protect patents and IP, and incentivizing trade within your own country to address that.

Have you considered meeting with your own party and pitching "Having an Identity," "Trying out Party Cohesion," "Not Dying on Every Cultural-battle-hill the GOP baits us into," "Maybe actually listening to voters..." you know, basics?

Is this a high-traffic area? Were the ships loaded with cargo? What ships are they, and who owns them? How far from the coast are they?

Fuck guys, try being news.

Signals coming out of american leadership couldn't be more mixed. But I'd go ahead and prepare for the worse outcome: america only knows how to break things in russia's favor right now, and likely for the foreseeable future.

Remember when american conservatives lost their minds over "leading from behind?"

How totally wild and unpredictable, that someone who financially benefits from pro wrestling sees value in keeping generations of consumers uneducated.

Not a guess - the stats are real:

Audience composition: Income and education demographics for WWE, AEW, Impact, New Japan, WOW - Wrestlenomics
Median household income The U.S. Census Bureau reported the median household income for the national population was $74,580 in 2022. All wrestling programs we have data for have a lower median income ...

Not when the alternatives are worse, and the electorate repeatedly makes the choice.

So wild the UK used a single question (instead of trying a list of points they could have tried to renegotiate) that basically asked how people *felt.*
How come referendums never ask things like *hey, wanna properly fund healthcare for an extra 50/year per person?"

People really still haven't figured out that the GST holiday is to encourage local spending through the holidays. (It's part of why the gov't was slow to press the LRB to begin getting the postal workers back on the job as well.)

It's tempting to want to break it all and rebuild, but then you gotta look at who half the country voted for, and wonder if you wouldn't end up with something worse if you did it right now.

I don't think Maas is bad at his job, to be clear, just that he goes over the top at times. Imagine any workplace mainly staffed by 20-somethings where the boss is prone to outbursts. He seemed like he was easing up, but watching him on the sidelines this year, I dunno.

Less. I started biking the half mile to school in grade 1. Granted it was '86, but still.
I got a pant leg caught in the chain once near school, and a cop pulled over and helped me get it unstuck, and then sent me on my way.

Maybe, but Maas is a complete mental patient at times, which probably doesn't help stabilize a qb. But his numbers say he's a bona fide starter, even when he's playing hurt; CFL doesn't have a lot of those to go around, especially ones in their early 30's.

Fajrado should still be in Sask. Dickenson really screwed us in how he handled the QBs. (O'Day's hands were tied - he had to back the coach, or send the message players run the team, but cripes... ) Could have had a franchise guy for years to come.

That's a tough one: RM's aren't very populated - the list of people who aren't family or friend eliminates a sizable list.

The reeve that lost the next election after exposing the bribery attempt was the grandson of a former reeve.
November 22, 2024 at 3:13 AM
Yes, Reeve Eberle was removed - shady land deals, kick backs, etc. A couple councilors were investigated - got all their legal fees paid by the taxpayers, no less. One was charged with trying to bribe the next reeve. (And exposing that bribe cost that reeve his job, smh)

Fun fact: Businesses also get to vote in RM elections, right here in Canada: (Mitt Romney is jelly)

wouldn't 1/500th of that be a sufficient prize posted by Anon as a bounty on putin?
Considering how much the oligarchs are losing to sanctions and seizures, it's amazing they haven't solved this problem for the world already.
