1. Since the ceasefire has been imposed, Israel has continued to terrorize Gazans with US-made weapons.

2. Israel has established, over decades, a consistent pattern of violating human rights, which directly violates the Foreign Assistance Act, making U.S. arms transfers both illegal and immoral.

Accountability means stopping the flow of weapons that enable oppression. This bill can set a precedent to end U.S. complicity. Here’s why this bill still matters, even with the current ceasefire..

What is the best way to talk about the genocide in Gaza, especially as we seek to continue to apply pressure to the best of our ability from outside of Israel/Palestine?

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 8pm eastern time, we’ll hold a webinar for Shoresh members to address these and other questions.

This is a national campaign organized by a large coalition, working to get more support for HR3565, a congressional bill that would limit US arms sales to Israel. The bill has 47 sponsors, with new ones joining every week. This is unprecedented for a bill that focuses on Palestinian rights.
