This is not about security, it is about natural resources. Trump needs Greenland’s resources, as he needs Venezuelan crude, not to benefit ordinary US citizens, or make them more secure, he needs it enrich the Oligarchical classes who, in turn fund him and the cultists within his government.

He needs to be considering extremely close military ties with the EU as a priority. Because, the three major world powers are ready to ignore International law and follow the law of might is right. Isolated nations will be at risk, the EU at least has a chance of offering some real resistance.

The irony of the United States of America suggesting that a Union of European States poses a security threat. It doesn’t, but it does mean they are stronger collectively and are better placed to be able, as a collective, to resist the bully boy tactics of Trump’s corrupt US Government.

I would much prefer the Greens than Labour. Labour, if they changed tack, as you suggest, would simply be a poor imitation of the original, as they currently are of Reform. Better voters throw their weight behind Lib dems, as the three front runners are as bad as one another.

Millionaires dropping large donations to ensure they are not asked to pay their appropriate share of tax.

The others were left, so rejected! 🤣
November 6, 2025 at 8:27 AM
No, that can’t be right, another direct link between Farage and illegal activity, I’m not having that! 😂

It will be interesting to see how they’ll monitor the vehicle milage. What about PHEV’s, will they pay the extra tax on just miles travelled on electric power only? Perhaps a portion of it when in hybrid mode, and how the hell are they going to measure that. Half arsed think tank idea, no doubt!

He’s sycophantic, unable or unwilling to call Trump out for what he is, a racist, criminal liar, concerned only with lining the pockets of billionaires. The irony is this approach will lead to Starmer being replaced by a racist, criminal, liar, who’ll enrich the rich and impoverish the poor.
November 5, 2025 at 10:01 AM
And no points for guessing who is the chief agitator of the rise in racism, nor who is his uneducated, easily used tool of choice. Nigel and Tommy, the political and the terrorist arms of, the British far right.
November 5, 2025 at 8:29 AM
Of course it does, it’s the political arm of the ultra wealthy. It’s there simply to further the unsavoury aims of a section of society, who criminally disregard the rest. It provides the smoke and mirrors to enable it’s backers to continue to build untold wealth, to the cost of ordinary citizens.

Why not go all in, and have an Apprentice style, reality TV, show to select your president? You could even have their sponsors logos printed on their clothing!
November 1, 2025 at 6:41 AM
If only it was a simple matter of an aging President, a chicken leg short of a picnic, funny but harmless. It’s not, it’s dangerous, he’s totally deranged, and he’s backed by a sycophantic administration unable to provide any moderation to his growing despotic action. It is not funny, it’s scary.

Trump is obviously of far below average IQ, you simply have to listen to him to understand that. Geography, History, Science, the man shows his ignorance daily. My primary school grandson would destroy him in a test of general knowledge. The leader of the free world, is simply a rich village idiot!
October 28, 2025 at 8:51 AM
It speaks volumes that you chose to use a question, not a statement, to refer to them “having admitted it”. And, though they’ve eluded to it, no, they have not openly pointed to Brexit as a mistake. Nor have they explicitly highlighted the numerous negative effects of Brexit, economic or social.
October 27, 2025 at 1:25 PM
The silence among politicians with regard to the harm brexit has caused is becoming deafening. They are scared to point out the truth for fear of losing votes! The irony being that the majority of voters don’t need it pointing out, they know, they experience the negative effects every single day.

The most grotesque part of the Israeli perpetrated genocide is that they, and their supporters, including UK PM Starmer, label any sort of anti Israeli sentiment as antisemitism, quelling dissenting voices and giving permission for the occupation and genocidal slaughter to continue.
October 26, 2025 at 8:29 AM
FFS! Are you missing the point on purpose? The, who started what, and obviously there were others involved (who doesn’t resist aggression), is irrelevant. Trouble follows the supporters around, and is a regular occurrence at their matches. Not having them eliminates that problem. 🤡
October 20, 2025 at 10:40 AM
Wasn’t my perception. Religion, and nationality, irrelevant. Violent fans, bringing high risk of violence, banned, simple.
October 20, 2025 at 9:07 AM
And this isn’t that!! This is a standard decision, which has been taken many times before by UEFA, to punish what they believe to be unacceptable fan behaviour, and preemptively prevent similar incidents. Bye!
October 20, 2025 at 7:37 AM
Quite the turn around. I think we can all guess who wears the trousers in the Starmer household!
October 20, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Clutching at straws now, a brawl at a ground with a few hundred v a violent riot between thousands. You have lost this argument and are simply muttering in the corner due, I would guess, to some misguided, fact denying allegiance to either Isreal, or more likely the idiot leading labour. 🧐
October 20, 2025 at 7:20 AM
The Israeli Premier League derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv was cancelled by police after "violent riots" before kick-off. I think that answers your question?
