While I agree with you, Toronto was a complete blizzard, also under Canadian ATC. As much as I'd love to blame the mango menace for this one, it looks like its just a regular weather caused crash.

Look I hate DOGE too but let's not call everything bad. Military pilots are required to have a certain amount of flight hours, and these flyovers always double as training flights. Low altitude flight in urban areas isn't commonly allowed, so they do it when they can.

People are far too afraid to pop their little bubbles. For many, the cognitive dissonance between objective verifiable facts and the world that has been constructed in their mind is too much. They'd rather ignore anything that pops their bubble than admit they might have gotten something wrong.
