Off protocol DMs are just for the planned end to end encrypted chats if I understand correctly.

Shouldn't I be following the feed or is it mixed in the feed.
I have seen other first and only posts with higher reach. But I haven't noticed whether this specific post which appears multiple times is the first post. I'll keep an eye.

Discoverability without specific profile or post is completely dependent on on AppView, no?
The discover feed, hash tag aggregation etc.

Why rely on Bluesky to be trusted at all?
Why can't AppView be hosted alongside the PDS? (Given sufficient compute is available).
