it's manageable since i wfh fully now but if this were in person, i'd be so depressed by now

Well, just booked flight to see one of my best friends who's got a ranch out in the Bible belt... Can't wait to be the only minority in a 20 mile radius but it's fine I'm just gonna spend the entire time horseback riding zzz finally an opportunity to put my Ariats to good use

looking at the scheduling for one of our machines and i see that a phd student i know has it booked/reserved for her overnight for two nights next week lol
at first i thought it was a mistake, but then again... she is a phd student... RIP i hope she has a comfortable place to sleep in her lab :(
