Rounding up from 4.5. Beautiful writing. I'd recommend watching a couple of interviews with Baldwin before reading it - I found the prose so much more poignant when hearing it in my head with his accent and cadence

I've still played only one match on #fm26. I just find the game so demotivating
But I can't help thinking of OOP and IP possibilities opened up by the new tactics options - even if the ME is still a bit yikes

I've still played only one match on #fm26. I just find the game so demotivating

Three weeks on the bounce I take a -4 but I just enjoy making transfers and I couldn't decide between Mateta and Joao Pedro - so went with them both
Only remaining decision is captain. Sticking with Haaland seems sensible but boring. Tempted by Timber or Gabriel

not quite, an improvement but not quite.
Like this from 24 - the actual game pitch is behind the tablet. With the tablet smaller it's more obvious and useful for feeling like you're still part of the match

Enjoyed it even though very little happens and it lacks the intensity of suspense in other Highsmith books. Interesting set of realistically dislikeable characters and the classic Highsmith antagonist-protagonist
