We also found it in 2 conjoint experiments where these four factors were all manipulated in hypothetical cases of historical wrongs and groups. These factors also were related to support for compensation policies.12/

We found evidence for this in 2 repeated measures survey studies where participants rated multiple real historical events varying in their location, groups, intensity etc on these 4 factors , and attributed blame to the current perpetrator groups.11/

Now for results: Do people actually blame current groups for the historical wrongs committed by their ancestors in the past? Yes! Atleast some people do When do they do it? We propose 4 factors (see next) 8/
