The character interactions are genuinely endearing, I did not expect to get invested in the little things with this one.

Also gotta love Captain Atom's final speech starting with details about how he was wrongly incarcerated and ending with "god bless America". Almost hitting parody levels with that one

In general theres some recurring stuff here from the vain of early 2000s comics being quite uncomfortable about women, this uhhh "gag" about power girls boobs probably doesn't need anyone directing it to understand what the problem is

Like I've started the next chapter so I get that the asteroid really was homing in on Clark but like if he was dead, wouldn't it still go towards his body or if it wouldn't, why would it change course? Nitpicky shit I guess but it is the central threat
