I like how the views of my Mega Tigerzord / Lord Zedd video surpassed my Dulcea/ Shogun Megazord one in less than a week.

Been investigating on how to "turn a 16-bit sprite into 8-bit sprite"
But nobody on the internet seems to know what I'm talking about.
So I'll ask here with an example.
Left = original 16-bit
Right = bootleg 8-bit
Is this doable in Photoshop/Gimp? Or did the bootlegger actually redrew?
