It is entirely possible to disagree with someone online and not contribute to the toxic cesspool that is The Discourse.

If your reaction to a take you don't like from some random person online (with no power to stop you) is to threaten to show up at their house or to describe sexual violence, guess what! That doesn't seem like you're a particularly safe (or progressive) person. No matter why you didn't like the take!
