no it is tied to the format, thats how the engines are supposed to handle them and it sucks, maybe blender plugin for mdl could in theory work with the half pixels so you get wysiwyg

I'm hoping I could use it for desktop and living room both, not sure how doable, either by local streaming or just carry it over with less cables than most computers

I'm actually considering one to replace my very aging desktop, maybe a good enough of a machine for development too
