The statement is pretty funny imo. You're holding Kimmel to a higher standard than our politicians. You're also saying the outcry was big to get him cancelled, yet the outcry for cancelling him is greater. Rolling Stone's quote on the situation is much closer to reality.

When reported there was just as much evidence pointing to him being left wing as there was being right wing, which was practically none. The uproar came from the chair of the FCC and MAGA. It's not a conspiracy when Carr's words still up on Benny Johnson's podcast

There is a massive difference between the FCC going after NBC to take down Kimmel versus ABC falling to pressure from people calling for her cancelation. One is pressure from the government, the other is pressure from the people.

And I don't disagree that this guy should be incarcerated indefinitely, but this death could've been prevented. If he was mentally unstable, he should have been involuntarily committed indefinitely, and from all the reports I hear, he was turned away from a facility before this happened.

The problem is that the guy was exhibiting violent anti-social behavior for two decades before this, and it doesn't seem like any therapeutic solutions were used, just incarceration. Why are therapeutic solutions constantly thrown to the wayside?

I still hear people complaining about tofu dreg since shotty construction doesnt simply vanish. It can take up to a century to a century to completely redo badly constructed areas

If you're referring to their infrastructure like trains and highway then yes they're used. If we're talking about the ghost cities some of them are so poorly constructed that they honestly need to be torn down
