Acoustic is more immediate (no other gear required), and is obviously essential for certain genres, but electric is far easier to play. If you find yourself REALLY struggling, try to find a guitar tech near you set up your guitar, or try to learn how to do it yourself.

Give it a good shot sometime! I re-started learning as an adult a year and a half ago and it’s been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Unlimited skill ceiling, so you can’t do anything except get better day by day.

The pain goes away after a couple of weeks of playing! You develop callouses on your fingers and build up strength until it becomes easy. Guitar has a particularly high difficulty curve for beginners, but it’s so worth it!

Impossible. Your only course of action is to move from fidgeting to sweating to panicking until someone asks you if you’re alright. At which point you start crying and THEN ask to be excused for a few minutes.

Ah nice! I’ve got a pretty quick workflow for transferring raw to my phone, throwing it into Lightroom and throwing one of my presets on when I’m just taking casual photos.

Yeah Fuji colors are to die for! It was difficult for me to choose between Sony and Fuji when I was shopping for a new camera this year, but I ultimately chose Sony because of their amazing autofocus and I already had two Sony lenses.

Thanks! This is SOOC RAW converted to jpeg. I think Sony’s skin tones have improved dramatically, but I have noticed that greens are often over saturated and I have to compensate.
