All this talking about the series, specifically veilguard, is making me wanting to replay the series. Reappraise my love of the series and order of which ones I like the most🤣. Off topic,it sprung up in an IRL conversation and bothered me,but Hawke is VERY over praised for not really doing anything.

... as much. Like Lace Harding for example. I felt like I could talk to her more in inquisition than Veilguard. Probably placebo but that's how I remember it. And another side note I know for a fact inquisitor would be a menace if Elven gods weren't constantly throwing crap at them. I miss them lol

That makes me sad to hear we would have had a near perfect follow up. Veilguard is still a great game for what it was trying to do. It just fell a little short of the Dragon Age standards in my opinion. Side note, I also love those two. It's just sad to me that I can't connect with them nearly...

I didn't know they were going for an MMO angle. That's a bit weird to hear. It seems like a decent amount of companies are trying to capture a MMO style game lately. It makes sense money wise but has bioware released any MMOs? If so I'll give more slack for hopping on the bandwagon.

In some places it feels like they shoehorn it in because it is expected. Instead of putting thought into the romance and companionship. In my opinion it felt like I was always left wanting more and never satisfied. Does that make sense? I don't mean to sound entirely negative here.

That made me think of an issue I have with the romance in general with Veilguard. It really doesn't feel like you bond with anyone really. It's kinda just a rag tag of adults who maybe wanna relieve stress and maybe date past the catastrophe if trauma allows. It doesn't really feel genuine in some..

I was also disappointed with the not really there companion discussions. Like, you could only really chat with them whenever the game said so instead of playing 20 questions and having cute conversations with your romance option. I love Veilguard but all the previous games did it better.

Unfortunately that's kinda it for Taash which makes me sad. They had a lot of potential to be such a fun romance. It just really awkward especially playing as a male! There is dialog that makes it feel like they forced Taash bisexuality when they are really just into women or other NBs.

That's still better than Taash fortunately! All you get with them is a really awkward first encounter than it's not till end game you are actually a couple. Then they get upset with you and don't want to do anything at all until after a certain event. Their love making scene is wild but that's it...

So sorry for the delayed response! Taash was good. Not great but good. They kinda felt like they were shoehorn into being a romance option. Or atleast like there wasn't enough time spent on getting to know them. If that makes sense!

First playthrough was Taash. Second... WAS planned to be Lucanis but these dads are too good! Although Davrin reminds us all of Alastair. Just with a son. Why did they make this dating Sim hard man!?

I wrote a really bad romance short story when I was like 15 on wattpad. I've tried to write small books on my special characters like once every few months I focus on it but I get bugged out about it and bail. As for those books no I have not! They are on the list now!
