The Power Mac we had while I was young had demos for Marathon and Pathways into Darkness on it. I remember some of the sound effects specifically creeping me out. The Nightmare Creatures PS1 demo also scared me enough that I remember turning it off.

God I gotta get back to it. Went through a rough patch of quest-breaking bugs and fell off, but when it works right it's fun as hell and such a beautiful world to explore and repeatedly get killed by mutants in.

Astlibra Revision is the perfect fusion of Symphony of the Night and a JRPG, made by one dude, complete with a buckwild story and a bunch of great characters. Combat and progression is fun and deep as hell. Soundtrack is all royalty free music but still rips.
