The ramifications of trying to tear up and rebuild this squad in a PSR reality to someone else's requirements are too mind-boggling to contemplate on a knee-jerk basis. Would likely set us back years.

I don't think they'll make any kind of statement as this kind of short-term thinking doesn't even register with them. Eddie Howe is their manager, he has KPI's for the seasons if and when he failed to hit those there's be some kind of annual review I suppose and then the would think about it more.
