Of course my 12v battery would die after just 13 months (1 month out of warranty). HOW CONVENIENT! Perhaps some Q4 service numbers need juicing??? Hmm 🤔

Finally finished Brian Greene's Fabric of the Cosmos after reading it on/off for over a year. Found it verbose, perhaps b/c I was already somewhat familiar with the concepts discussed. Overall, I greatly prefer the respective PBS NOVA series for it's visual demonstrability.

everytime i feel shitty and don't want to run, i'm usually happy i did afterward; also the mobile fitbit app isn't rendering the heart rate chart so i have to manually screenshot it to share... lame, maybe it's time to switch to garmin and strava?

Switching on "athlete mode" in september dropped the body fat by ~5%... it would be interesting to know how the metric changed.

Wanted to head into DC today before the government shutdown closed everything down. Ended up at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. It was a good opportunity for reflection and introspection. I really love this country and appreciate those who made it what it is today.

Very happy with my run today. It was a beautiful day; partially cloudy, ~68F. Slightly slower pace, but I met my goal of not stopping.

2 key factors:
1. Greater back activation, especially lower back with increased scapula retraction
2. Didn't run on a completely empty stomach
