Another part of tonight’s fun fact: both holidays have a special candle holder only used for the holiday. However, the kinara simply needs to hold 7 candles, whereas a menorah has to be a specific way to be considered kosher.

Happy Chanukah night 2 to my fellow Jews!! And Happh Kwanzaa night 1 to those celebrating!! Tonight’s fun fact is actually about both holidays because they are very similar. The biggest thing is both are considered festivals of light!

Tonight’s Chanukah fun fact is: latkes weren’t originally made from potatoes. They were actually made from other ingredients, such as cheese. @devilemortis.bsky.social convince your spouse to make you some cheese latkes. Tell him it’s for Chanukah and our ancestry demands it 😂😂😂
