I understand (but don't approve of) them doing this to blue states, but it's not going to go over well in the red ones. I suppose now that they're taking an axe to democracy, there's no need to worry about angering voters because they're probably not planning to have (fair) elections any more.

Interesting artist's interpretation. I assume the people imagining this scenario are the same folks that don't like offshore windmills, because looking at oil tankers offshore is preferable?

I'm starting to worry that IF the Dems manage to win elections and gain control in the next four years, the will do NOTHING to prosecute these clowns. I want a Nuremberg-like response, not a Merrick Garland response.

Lots of blood in whatever history that window is depicting.

I watched the first episode last night because you have been posting about it, but I'm finding it hard to watch. It makes me uncomfortable, and I'm not sure why. As someone with social anxiety, I can relate to the process of practicing what I plan to say, but the show's methods feel so manipulative.

I suspect that the cat is sitting in front of the refrigerator because that is where the warm air is exhausted from the refrigeration process. My cats do the same thing with our heat vents at home.

I then realized the shrew was not moving around, apparently very happy to be in a cozy shirt, so I quickly unlocked the padlock with both hands, opened the gate, and let the shrew go in the blackberry brambles where the cat dare not go.🏅(5/5)

I was afraid the shrew would wiggle out of the shirt, so for a minute I was trying to turn the key with one hand while cupping the lump in my shirt with the other. It wasn't working very well. (4/5)

When I got to the gate, the challenge really began. How do I open a keyed padlock without the use of my hands?

Solution: Roll the shrew up in the hem of my t-shirt. (3/5)

I caught the shrew, had it cupped between both hands, because it would jump out if I didn't. Used my bum to open the sliding patio door, retrieved the padlock key from the nail just inside the patio door with two of my fingers (while still holding onto the shrew). (2/5)
