Said goodbye to my federal agency today.
It was emotional to leave such amazing coworkers and work I really loved, and it wasn't easy to just pack up and leave completely on my own decision, but it feels like the right step for right now. Especially given the state of… well, you know.

Tonight was a long awaited Harry Potter PARTY. ⚡
Ravenclaw got stuck with me and I understood basically nothing… and yet, somehow I went undefeated in every duel. Turns out I bring the muscle, not the brains lol. Who would have thought?

Work took over my October, and even though I’m grateful for it, the spooky season slipped by too fast with very little to show for it. So I decided that I'm gonna keep it going into November with things like dnd, horror game nights, Stranger Things, and Welcome to Derry.

I never would have thought my career would bloom in the absence of the federal role I worked so hard to have, but it has. And for the first time in a long time, I’m enjoying archaeology again. It makes sense now that it serves people, not politics.
