Tomorrow I'm teaching my first seated exercise class for older adults, having qualified just over a month ago. I'm a little nervous. Need to practise the routines today.

Last year, my rose got a really bad case of black spot. I followed all the RHS directions on how to remedy this, but they warned it might be difficult to rescue. This is how it looks now. I did it!

I've had just over a week off from my exercise classes (I do 8 per week) to catch up with appointments and administrative tasks. Today is my first day back and I feel like it might be a shock to my system!

Just been for my 2nd shingles vaccine. Walking back, it was nice to see foliage coming back to life after the winter.

I started an exercise programme 48 weeks ago. Now my instructor has asked me to train to be an instructor for some of her other classes (which, unlike the ones I do, are for elderly people). I've just enrolled on a course. Nervous!

I'm off to a wine and paint class. It was a Christmas present. Not quite sure how this is going to go. I'm artistic but not in a painting and drawing kinda way. I was excused art at school in favour of more ballet!
