Beeswax yes, mineral oil no. Mineral oil is made from crude oil. It never "cures", as in hardens as other plant or nut based oils do, always seeping from any wood project until gone forever. It's permanent state is inert liquid even mixed with beeswax and will separate from the mix. I use walnut oil
