Hey there! Another week of nothing but bug fixes for me... Which unfortunately means there isn't much to say as far as updates go.
That doesn't mean I've been idle though! The demo is almost entirely done and dusted, and I just need to finish up the trailer!

Hey there! Back from the holidays and ready to get to work... is what I would say if I wasn't hit with the fated family flu this week.
I'm slowly getting back into the workflow between fits of coughing, but I'll be fully operational soon!

Progress on the game has been a little slow this week, mostly because I'm preparing for a family visit this week.

Unfortunately, I understimated how long it takes to get your steam page validated, so it's taking longer than intended. The woes of making your first steam game I suppose...

Floor 2 is finished, and with it my work on the mines is done for now!
Watch out for the two new items on this floor: The switch and the super spike!
Figuring out how to deal with these traps will be key to making the most out of this floor.

Hey there! Another week of work on the mines and I've finally got the minimap and the interactions working the way I want!

With this, I'll be moving on to introducing "levels" to the mines, and tying all of this into the general shopkeeping experience!

Hey there! We're back, and with a fully functional generated mine! Behold!

The polish isn't quite there yet, as some of the sounds and interactions don't flow quite like I want it, but we're almost done with this section of the game (for now).

Hey there! It's been a week since I've started my overhaul of the mines, so what's new?

Well, the basic map generation is done, and it's working great! For those who know, this is very much inspired by "Binding of Isaac" maps , so they should feel familiar.

Hey there! Another week has flown by, and we've got a working version of multiple save files!
The UI still needs a little work but everything is up and running.
I even added a general menu at the start to allow players to fiddle with the options before starting the game.

The next step is allowing for multiple save states, which will be this week's workload, but what about this month?

Hey There! October has arrived and I've been working hard on "Hey! Shopkeeper!" as usual. Last time I talked about the first event of the game, and I'm pleased to say that it is (mostly) finished!
There will probably be more interations to the concept, but I have to move on!

Hey there! I've been silent last week, mostly because there was nothing super special to announce.

I've been setting up the steam page for my game, and a new demo will be playable! I'm aiming for mid December for a steam debut, keep an eye out!

All of the points I mentionned last week have been implimented, and all major bugs I found are fixed! That means from now on, I'll be focusing on making the first event!

Hey there! Back again for an update on development!

The demo is out, but there's still much to do!

I'll be spending the next few days fixing bugs and adding some more options for controls and volume.
After that, I'll be implimenting the first big yearly event!

New week and the heat is ever rising! I wish I had some exciting news, but the bugs (and the weather) have been a real hassle! I'm looking to get all this fixed and tested ASAP, so stay tuned for the next updates!

Hey there! A late update on a Monday evening is here!
The optimization and bug fixing led me down quite the rabbit hole... And I ended up working almost entirely on NPC shops this week!
It's in a much better state now, and I can finally get started on the house customization!

I'm a day late but hello again! Back to talk some more about cutscenes! This week I've been thinking a lot about just how much effort I want to put into unique character animations.

To what point is the extra effort rewarded? Is it even worth it?
