Currently, my travelling/workout audio book is Devney Perry's Shield of Sparrows.
While some of the initial scenes fell into some over description and clichés, I'm really enjoying her writing. It's avoiding a lot of what I find 'tolerable' in the genre. Not all, but the writing is pretty damn good
