Yep! He's weak at the beginning and cannot do much except for, like, moving and throwing objects, but then his power grows and eventually he gets Shen Jiu out of there. And leads him to Cang Qiong 😌 So, his cultivation isn't ruined by Wu Yanzi.

But for little Shen Jiu, abused in the Qiu mansion, and not recognised by Shen Yuan as the future "villain", he became some kind of a guardian spirit 😌 Or more like a guardian gremlin with manners of a true poltergeist.

Long story short, the system files were damaged so badly that Shen Yuan did not get a physical form in this world. He was turned into something like an intangible spirit, a "shadow". Which means for the locals he became basically a demon or a ghost.

The textures didn't load, and the body physics didn't work, and on top of everything, this model was thrown so far into the past that the main character hadn't even been born yet.
