Our Deputy Director Kyle Giddings, in recovery for 11 years, knows firsthand that incarceration doesn’t heal addiction—it makes it worse. Colorado must reject the failed policies of the past. Vote NO on SB-44. #NoOnSB44

I really think we could get better housing policy by wishing for it and talking about it on the internet.

Trying to think of the simplest way to explain this: we, most especially if we are socialists, should not want to give public dollars to private entities and then consider their private businesses to be public goods. It just doesn’t make good sense ya know? (This is about housing)

Once in Memphis I was getting upset at some cops and the way they were violently interacting with Black children. I yelled, “They’re kids! Stop it!” The white lady who called the cops on the children whispered in my ear, “Oh honey, they’re not kids like our kids.” And that is how Joe Biden thinks.

It’s funny that that “Messy” song is about her parents but we all thought it was about her boyfriend because we all have daddy issues.

There is nothing I want more than for people to be free - not even a house, not even a boyfriend. The thing I want second is to be loved.

I hope y’all now get why I wanted my campaign slogan to be, “you are the experts on the issues that you live every day” but it was a statement before it’s time.

No more think tanks!

Poor people who go read in public libraries and find solutions to their problems are the best think tanks I have EVER met.

I got a CSA box for the first time ever. So many metaphors. First, it's $500 up front, but then when you do the math it's only $100/month // $25/ week for groceries, which is amazing. Thank God I had $500 up front available.

This week my box was delayed.

Maybe if we don’t talk about it, it will go away - is something that worked in my family of origin (and honestly only on one side because poor people have to figure out how to make it work), but not something I am looking for in my family of choice.

Oh my God....the rage that consumes me. Who comes up with these ideas and why are they always wealthy white men?

(also I like the pickleball people in Cheesman park for the record but this makes no sense IMHO)

Denver has an idea for the Civic Center gravel pit (It’s pickleball)
The city is exploring building six courts at the corner of Lincoln and Colfax Avenue.

What makes one a housing expert, or a "public policy researcher" or a "political strategist"?

Who should be designing housing policy?

And will Reid Hoffman and Kent Thiry fund social housing?

That's what I'm left wondering after reading this.
