My long term dream is to redevelop my property in Maple Leaf with our across the fence backyard neighbors. We're all the same age. Their daughter is a little younger. Timing could be perfect for when we're all empty nesters. 12,000+ SQ ft through lot. Could be cool.

It was weird. I couldn't tell if coincidentally I agreed with everything you wrote or if my Jewish upbringing had really molded my worldview that much without me knowing it.

On Repentance and Repair is such a great book. So glad I read it earlier this year.

I want to:
- read this book
- watch this movie
- listen to all the albums by this band
- listen to this metal song on repeat

I have a dadu/AADU on an alley that will likely go to permit once the new rules are in place. Super frustrating to not know what tweaks I can/will have to make once everything is finalized.

If the 3' setbacks near frequent transit survive then I can widen the unit by 12" on the ground floor.

It's been so long since I did a project in 2D only. I forget half the bullshit that people still struggle with.

Setting up interior elevations and making sure the width and height of the room are correct.... Wtf!?!

5 months ago would have been peak "let's get these townhouses finished and on the market" mayhem. No wonder I can't remember/didn't follow through/nothing happened!

The townhouses are a great case study in BIM though. Someday I'll have time to share.

You're thinking of this video of how I measure and model simultaneously. Minimizes errors, faster than any other method, and definitely cheaper than paying someone to scan and then model.

Measuring and modeling/drawing on site is the only way. Drawing/modeling from measurements back at the office was always so painful.
