Once he stops taking that first gasp of fresh air when I pull him out of my pocket, and instead takes it when I drop him into my humid work boot, then I’ll know he’s learned what the term ‘fresh air’ really means.

Then he’ll enjoy longer, hotter, fresher days beneath his master’s size 13.
