Today the cat ive been babysitting went home. She and I bonded over the last 5 months. I didn't think I'd be this sad. I feel so alone now. Granted, I am highly allergic to her, but she was worth all the sneezing itchy eyes and insane amount of inhaler use. I'm so sad and crying inconsolably

Having a preteen is confusing. She's still so little in so many ways, but also grown up in so many ways. She watches shows with teen content and knows what a vibrator is, but still loves the lorax movie. It's all so confusing

I grew up in Texas and sex Ed/maturation was minimally taught. My mom didn't talk to me about puberty or my period or how to take care of myself during those times. Now my daughter is close and I'm breaking the stigma. They even have period packs for girls now! It's such a relief.
