I made these trans pride flag ringmail chains for my partner and myself last week! I'm working on a non-binary one, and some extras to keep in my purse that I can offer to people if they want one.
2 trans pride flag chainmail charms - each made with anodized aluminum in light blue, pink, and silver. They are made with a "Full Persian 4-in-1" weave so each ring has 4 other rings attached to it.

The thing they don't tell you about starting work somewhere with lots of legacy code/applications is that the older and weirder a system that you touch is, the more likely it will be to follow you around forever.

Like a cursed doll someone has to take willingly from you.

New signs went up at most (all?) of the bathrooms at work. Honestly good to see! I'd appreciate more gender neutral bathrooms, but a lot of the buildings here were built in the 50s-60s so I understand space is at a premium.

This city hates its transit system so much. All but 1 of the bus stops at the largest university campus in the city have been closed since apparently May 8th but Transit's own app makes no mention of it. Not to mention they are allergic to providing shade. Glass roof, good work.

When @fluidfyre.bsky.social pointed out what they were called, I was 100% sure they were joking. It wasn't until like half an hour later when I realized THAT WAS THEIR ACTUAL NAME! They even sound like camels!
A 'Spamel' from Jedi Survivor. It's a big space camel that sounds like a camel, but is in space. That is the actual name of the creature in the game. It's about 15 feet tall with long giraffe like legs and a weird neck/head/snout thing going on.

Hah! For once having extremely sensitive hearing was a benefit! Noticed the slight sound of water moving through the water pipes when it shouldn't be and found the source - the outside spigot was leaking. This freeze thaw cycle has been *brutal* - split the fixture down the center.

Apropos of nothing - here is one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. Taken at the Jardin botanique de Montréal in September 2018.
