Two issues I had with the series (and some of the only ones I can see as valid) is the pacing (some shots come and go too fast, especially episode endings), and over-usage of wipe fade transitions. Too many scenes used those transitions when it wasn't necessary. Other than that, I've got nothing.

John Morrison put it best in his CVV interview; he's good for a guy who rehearses his matches like a month beforehand, working with some of the best minds like Shawn Michaels while doing so.

This reeks of damage control (not the stable, mind you), given Alize's Twitter post about there being so much to talk about, and the IG story of "the only way to spend a Saturday"

I don't even collect to collect anymore. As a stop motion animator, I basically only get things I plan to use down the line in future projects. Anything else is a no-go, which is a shame. But yeah, lots of purging as of late to make room for the new, more expensive stuff. Yippee 🫠

100% on all fronts! Going all out on the sidekicks was a great decision for each studio who did, it made for great moments throughout!

All in all, a fun step back into the Visions landscape. Lots of the follow-up episodes leave the door open for even more, which I'm looking forward to. I think overall the volume was better than the first, but weaker than the second. I still had plenty of fun. Hats off to all the studios!

BLACK was... Idk man what am I supposed to say about this? There's nothing like it in Star Wars, that's for sure. It was very well animated and drawn, but honestly I can say that it was kind of a weak way to cap off Vol 3. I know these are all to be viewed in isolation, but still. 4.5/10

Bird of Paradise was an interesting trip. The spiritual journey was a fun character arc to see. Made me want a prominent Miraluka in a modern Star Wars story more than anything lol. Plz let's have a Visas Marr return 🤞 Good episode with some outstanding animation, 7.5/10

The Smuggler was good. Another one I had difficulties locking in on with how good the previous one was. It was a fun story with very good choreo. Classic smuggler who has a heart of gold hidden behind a tough exterior. Good stuff, 7/10

Lost Ones was a nice return to F's story (forgot her name was F). Another one I wished I watched the prior episode, but again it exists well in isolation. Karen Fukahara is an exceptional VA and killed it. Same with all the others. That ISD model, awooga. Great animation and engaging story, 8.5/10

Apologies, I did not care much for Yuko's Treasure. I had so much fun with the previous episode that I was mentally exhausted. The animation was fun and the story wholesome. Shouts out Steve Buscemi's performance as the pirate dude, he did very well. 6/10

Bounty Hunters I enjoyed quite a bit. I really liked Sevn's character, and her banter with IV-A4. A classic case of a lead and their partner in crime they struggle to find common ground with. Excellent animation, great voice work, fun story. 8/10

Child of Hope was a nice return to the Ninth Jedi story, and I loved the emotion behind it. I wish I rewatched the original before this to refresh my mind on the story, but it wasn't required as the story exists well in isolation. Teto is the goat fr. The enemy designs were very rad, 7.5/10

Song of Four Wings was an animation lover's delight. It was flashy, expressive and a feel good story. The mech suit was kinda nuts, but I vibed with it. Very good story, 8.5/10

The Duel: Payback was stellar. I think I loved it more than the first volume's outing. It was so unequivocally Kurosawa and Star Wars. I watched this one in Japanese, and I think that was the right call. Very, very much loved it, 9/10

Only good for broadsiding and nothing else 🥲

Absolutely. Escapism from the bs of the world is such a big part of the appeal of hobbies, especially gaming. Once these moronic companies start picking sides and endorsing the nonsense, it makes it so much harder to find that satisfying disconnect. Gamestop has for sure played a big role recently.

Honestly very, very understandable 😞
