Labour were worried that the threat would come from a Reform/Tory coalition. I think that once this was ruled out by those Parties they became too complacent about the level of support they have.

My Mum has been telling me the same thing this afternoon. Where she lives there are a lot of people of retirement age and she told me that this was reflected in the polling station. People she speaks to nearly everyday. Her ward has passed to a Reform majority, she doesn't know who to talk to now!

Second homes and empty homes! People buying a property just because they know it will accumulate value by itself. No-one has to live there, no expenses, no worry....just let it sit and let the £'s roll in.
