I look forward to reading more Kuang! 😁😁 What really got me to buy the book was reading her article about American Fiction, a movie I really enjoyed in theatres this year

The Poppy War was the first book I read from R.F. Kuang, it's such a strong and impactful read. And a really good choice 😊

I've actually been living in Cardiff since 2020 and just got back a couple months ago, the population boom has been crazy to experience!!

I feel like it's impossible to be on the road at 8-9am and 3-7pm

Always makes my day if my selection gets complimented at an indie bookstore, feel like such a smart young man 🤓😊

I think there's something special to reading Travels with Charley before East of Eden :) I definitely enjoyed EoE more due to the fact that I read travels and I understood a lot of the references made in the book. Both are beautiful books and have a place at my favourite reads of this year

it's only this year (22 years old) that I've properly sat down and watched the LOTR extended edition, and then read the Hobbit (in that order). I look forward to enjoying the rest of the books.
They've really resonated with me as an adult, probably moreso than if I was a kid.

It's absolutely impossible to use on mobile, extremely counter-intuitive
