Colorado River. Navajo Nation to the left. Vermilion Cliffs NM near right. It won’t surprise you that a MAGA US rep is trying to eliminate the Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni-Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument in the middle right of the river. Kaibab National Forest far right.

Funny to have a tree across our road so soon after recent wood splitting discussion. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

Keep in mind, these are his woodpiles that he split with an axe. Dig the cob houses on the row ends. He’s hard to impress.

Took me a while to find this pic but I took four swings with a maul and drew a perfect line across a red pine that fell on my cabin a while back. I was so proud of how my dad taught me to swing an axe that I sent this picture to him.
