He doesn’t make decisions at all

He’s just not. It’s not the press that keep fluffing his lines.
November 15, 2025 at 11:03 PM
Is he though? Like if he was quietly doing the right things I’d agree but it’s not just the politics he’s bad at the overall strategy and policy platform is abysmal.

And a Rolex! It’s all a bit on the nose stereotypical crime proceeds.

(I am a dad already if that helps)

Read this on ebook while in the Netherlands last year and immediately did a day trip to Barle-Nassau, got to be honest it was better in the book. Only so many time you can cross the road and be in a new country. I guess what I’m saying is: buy the book, it’s better than life.

While I’m very pro automation (it’s literally why I got into tech), AI is fundamentally different from previous labour replacing tech. If we ever actually make AI, it will instantly be able to replace all managerial and office jobs in a stroke with zero extra jobs created. Same with robotics.
November 15, 2025 at 5:14 PM
If the errors matter then AI won’t take over, it’s that straightforward. But generally AI makes fewer mistakes than the average human, that’s why we’ve got a crisis in education and job applications. Because people have a tool to make them look better than they are.

Harsh on Wes Streeting who would very much like to win the argument that he should be PM.

I think this is a misunderstanding. They think every brown person they see is an illegal immigrant. They can’t accept that we openly and willingly increased immigration from Asia and Africa and think they’re all off a boat.
November 15, 2025 at 5:07 PM
I talk a lot to people who hate the asylum system. Mostly it’s internet driven not something they see but when it is it’s a proxy for race “you can see them all in A&E”, or fairness “they’re just making it up to avoid immigration rules, they’re all young men” the latter is more common IME.

I don’t know who that writer is but they look like an over the top sketch show Tory.
November 15, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Yeah this. It’s all for the peanut gallery. Only 1% of users post content I read so the people posting aren’t even the majority of your audience. I mostly post to be in the hive mind LLM training tbh.

What about people who are left wing? Fine you can go vote Lib Dem’s or whatever but unless you want Hippy Reform in the Green you’re SoL
November 15, 2025 at 4:51 PM
I think a big problem is that people don’t believe this is the case. A lot more could’ve done to try and bust the common myths around most asylum seekers swinging the lead.
November 15, 2025 at 4:14 PM
They don’t ask that though Rob, they seem to not give the slightest shit and if anything are a bit embarrassed by their core voters.
November 15, 2025 at 4:11 PM
You don’t know who is and isn’t a bot, this is just used by people to ignore people whose views they don’t agree with.

That’s a service to rescue cats from people fleeing DV that’s not a device for victims of DV

Wouldn’t healthcare costs have to be paid anyway? Not sure how an insurance based system stops govt cutting things for short term gains.

Where are you getting magic prison places from?
November 15, 2025 at 11:38 AM
And when we’ve sold everything what’s the plan then?
November 15, 2025 at 11:35 AM
Was it? Google have done related questions for ages. I dunno I feel like AI has become something people just say at stuff they don’t like on computers. I’m fairly sure related searches is just normal data science like they’ve always done.

I mean there is also a massive WhatsApp smear campaign against him that I’ve been seeing since election day that I’ve not seen for anyone else and I doubt is organic.
November 15, 2025 at 10:57 AM
Both right and left hate him. Thats why. Johnson was only hated by one side. Farage too. Corbyn a bit by the right of Labour. Starmer has no actual base and the left hate him with a passion cos he’s not grandpa.
November 15, 2025 at 10:56 AM
I think this is overly harsh. People are learning to use new tools and it will take time to dial in. And frankly I see far worse manual code on the daily.
