Idk it just doesn’t make sense to me. Chosen families are great tho and I’m so thankful for the support system that I have and all the love I’ve felt from them❤️

And I’m trying to be patient and understanding with them (even tho that shouldn’t be my job imo) but you’d think they would be ecstatic for me finding someone that makes me so incredibly happy. My coworkers who I have known for less than a year shouldn’t be happier for me than my own parents are.

My mom seems happy for me but immediately changed the subject when I told her we were official.
And I can’t even tell my dad things cuz my mom thinks it will go over better coming from her and his response was “it is what it is” and like it’s not negative but it’s not positive either

Oh god it got worse! Once I was finally off hold the lady was loudly breathing right into the phone every 10 seconds and then said I’m not authorized so she can’t talk to me so this was all for nothing 🤦♀️
