Even though I know DeepSeek probably accesses location data without my knowing regardless of settings, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁, they have the option to turn off location services to “Never”.

Anyways, there’s no option for ChatGPT to 𝗻𝗼𝘁 access your location data. I would have never known until it mentioned my location mid-conversation.
ChatGPT gaslighting that it can’t access location data while saying it can access location data. ChatGPT explaining that its specialized search engine accessing location data with no option to turn it off. ChatGPT confirming that there is no way to toggle off location data access. ChatGPT addressing my concerns by telling me to review OpenAI’s privacy policies.
