My first instinct is to say Disco Elysium because I'm a stan. 😅

My sleeper answer though is the game Slice & Dice. Indie, 7+ years to make. It takes the concept "dice battle fantasy roguelike" and delivers what may be every conceivable permutation of fun gameplay for it (but without a story lol).

It's a casual cruelty of the universe that immediately after a crash people get thrown into a Kafkaesque hell of insurers and car dealers. It's awful. I'm really glad nobody was hurt; hang in there and try to be lenient with yourself as best you can.

I was planning to write some sort of year-in-review reflection next month anyway, so this sort of dovetails into it. I think it'll be a longer form piece on my personal website instead of directly in posts here, that way I can ramble as much as I want without worrying about character limit.

This is awesome Chii!! And super timely, I was just talking with @kumakami.xyz last week about FBT options for him, but I knew very little about Slimes. Your video covers pretty much everything. It was really cool to get a peek into their supply chain and future work too (gloves 👀).
