It's been well over a decade since I first drew Shigeru. And I felt it was time to let him grow up AND give him a glow up!

He's still a lovable goofball, but now he's more mature and far more capable of holding his own in combat. And he REALLY knows how to use that girth~ ;3
A simple, flat color reference sheet of my tanuki OC Shigeru Hachimoto, now age 27 as opposed to his original 18-19. While his design is mostly the same, he's considerably taller, beefier, and has more facial hair than his classic design. Surrounding Shigeru is some written notes pointing to his finest attributes and why you should totally have sexual fantasies about this nook.
