I don't think calling something "X-like" necessarily implies "X invented the genre", just "X is a game within the genre that my readers have most likely heard of"

FF7 Rebirth is the most visually beautiful game I've played in a long time though - they've captured the magic of the original, but made each environment larger _and_ more detailed _and_ full 3D. I kind of wish there was a "VR hiking" mode so that I could just go for a walk immersed in it...

I kinda feel like there needs to be a doesthedogdie.com category for "does the season end on a cliffhanger" so I know not to watch any of these shows. I really miss the days when stories had beginnings, middles, *and ends* D:
