"the galaxy" OH I LOVE THAT. we got the sun, the moon, the earth, and the galaxy! that's just very clever and i love that for sky. although, "the sky" would make a lot of sense too 😂 but "the galaxy" is way more creative.

if im not wrong that concept is from the arcane art book, those are some of the first discarded designs based on jayce giopara, who was white, but they changed this for his final design in arcane. that is not arcane jayce's canon skin color. this is the final design and his skin color is darker.

even if i see their bond as a romance, i understand that it's not needed to show vulnerability. so why was that important aspect of jayce erased, if not precisely for the fragile masculinity of men like Linke? there was no reason to erase those scenes (viktor's too) other than being grossed out.

which is where the dudebros who say "men can't be vulnerable with other men anymore cause ppl think it's gay" contradict themselves. cause it's precisely for their mentality that men are not often shown being vulnerable. because they get grossed out at it. that mentality erased jayce crying twice.

ofc that jayce showing his vulnerability with viktor doesn't have to be automatically related with a romance, who wouldn't cry when they find out someone extremely special for them is dying, or when you are told you have to kill that person yourself?? it's just HUMAN to cry in a situation like that.

jayce is someone that loves a lot, he loves with a passion. he has such a huge heart and he never hesitated to show the people he loves how much he does. him crying for viktor was a way to show how much he meant to him and also it shows vulnerability, which we don't see men in media do so often.
