The way I see it is that the Frame is an upgrade from the Q3, and the Beyond is an upgrade from the Index.
Unless wired VR is a dealbreaker to you, the frame is just inferior to the Beyond, not lighthouse compatible, LCDs, more light-leak.
And chances are you’ll be wired with an external—

In the end this does help people who, like myself, were waiting for this to be announced before upgrading to something like the Beyond 2.
For me personally it was mostly misses in terms of what I want from an upgrade from the Index so it did help me decide
