The KAK have confirmed that they've been invited to visit CONCACAF HQ on 27th February. Been a long time since we last heard of CONCACAF mobilising for a potential new member. The last time we heard such rumours, nothing came of them, but promising signs nonetheless 🇬🇱

Another gap filled in the Icelandic photo history! 1992 friendly in Israel. I was expecting the 1991-92 away, but absolutely not the ABM shirt that the women's side used in Scotland. Disastrous for collection goals, but interesting historically.

Nah, Sweden away was the Puma shirt. Lovely quality video. An away of the Adidas would probably be youth football, if it exists.

That away shirt is so frustrating. I've tried so many possible sources. Also, 2000 saw this (possibly) one-off shirt against Switzerland, though I did once hear a claim of an away shirt (potentially the Sweden away match in 2001).

Very strange. Not a huge amount of archived footage from back then, but does appear to be a one-off.

I don't have a matchworn Eritrea, so I have to resort to one of my older Icelands. Paid more for it than I perhaps should've, but it what it is.

An away version of this as Czechoslovakia was also used at youth level, interestingly. Pictured here in 1992 U21 qualifiers.

They've definitely got worse at identification. Much more interesting shirt than Guinea did wear in 2002 qualifiers, in fairness (as shown here against Malawi):

Complete is a strong word. I obviously have a number of home and away sets, but Iceland 2016-18 is missing the red GK and 2018-20 is missing the rarest modern shirt, the purple GK (used only in men's youth matches).

Since this photo was taken I have, of course, updated my 2018 home to be matchworn.

If it is any consolation I can only happily show off one of them and also not help?

It wasn't to be for Iceland last night, some defensive mistakes to sharpen up on. But there were some good moments and the Icelandic contingent, small though we were, kept up as long as possible. Relegation play-offs await and they are a must-win. Áfram Ísland! 🇮🇸

I can't match the numbers, but I can match the passion. Everyone has a little bit of love for San Marino! Well, except maybe Liechtensteiners...

There's really only one things I can open up Bluesky with. Iceland, as of May '23. Not as much has changed as I'd have liked, older shirts are getting harder, but will see about updating these soon. Áfram Ísland! 🇮🇸
