I've started implementing the base AI for enemies and also firearm(s) now. TBD, but so far I've been modelling everything in Unreal itself, and it hasn't been that bad. The enemies weapons will be hidden. Also hurt & stamina sounds. #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #gamedev

Implemented Notes/Maps using my Interactables system. It's also using the same CTA system that's present in the inventory, and is populated using the set CTAs in the item instance. Designs pending, but I can at least start using them in levels. #indiedev #gamedev

Updated the options menu to use new templated properties for different option types. Also added loading screens, and updated the second mode's grapple to consume stamina. #indiedev #gamedev

Haven't posted here in a while, but a lot has changed including different levels, save system updates, menus and effects etc. Also, instead of scrapping some old features, I decided to just make a different mode you can play that includes them.

Was fun modelling and animating the vent, lock mechanism, and the screws. I'm also getting quite used to LevelSequences/ActorSequences.

Animated the screwdriver now, and can use it / attack. The sprint animation was a happy accident as I reused my walk anim on a separate version of the actor, but forgot to change the transform origin - and it turned out great. #indiedev #indiegame

Not a lot to show off, but the set pieces and overall theme of the game’s level 1 is starting to come together. Going to have some backtracking + easily missable secret items and missions. I guess the next thing to do is create notes and finish the first level (P2 area and deco). #screenshotsaturday
