meanwhile their schools are falling apart, they won‘t be able to afford their own home despite working their whole lives, everything is becoming more expensive and older generations still pretend they‘re lazy and entitled. 🫠

I am in fact just built like that. Meds make it a bit better but if it‘s something important or something that I personally deem very important no chemical substance can match my sheer force of overreacting

I should work on not crashing out this easily. But whenever I mentioned my emotional impulsivity my therapist reminds me that while we can work on how I deal with it and calm more quickly it IS a significant part of having adhd and I cannot get rid of the overwhelming intensity
